Aims and Scope
Genomics Discovery is an open access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that advances our understanding of genome structure, function, variation, evolution and applications. The journal welcomes submissions from across the biological sciences, including human, animal, plant and microbial genomics. Areas of interest include but are not limited to:
- Sequencing technologies and genome assembly
- Genomic variation and population genomics
- Functional and structural genomics
- Epigenomics and DNA methylation
- Transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics
- Regulation of gene expression and non-coding RNA
- Comparative genomics and evolutionary genomics
- Genome editing and CRISPR/Cas systems
- Bioinformatics, computational genomics and systems biology
- Personalized and precision medicine
- Ethical, legal and social issues in genomics
The journal aims to facilitate the translation of genomic discoveries into real-world applications by publishing original research articles, reviews, case studies and methodological advances.
